When the towers fell, many people living in South-East Asia who are members of the Islamic faith cheered. Again, when the shuttle broke up during re-entry, many of those said it was the just due for "The Barbarians". Same cheering seems to go on when soldiers of the US and their allies in Iraq and Afganistan are murdered by Islamic "Heros" sacrificing themselves for Allah, so they can walk with Him in Paridise.
Now, when a tragedy that makes the aforementioned events look like minor trivial events, what countries are sending the most aid without any strings? Heard anything from Al-Quida? How about the PLO? Now, who is "The Barbarian" and who "Walks with God"?

I read Dennis L.'s comment of 12/31/04 08:25PM and want to add something to this line of thought.

There has been more than 2 Billion dollars pledged to aid south east asia and by so many different countries but I have yet to see several countries that you would think would be rushing to help their fellow muslims in need. Where are you Saudi Arabia, Quatar, Palestine, Iran, and the rest of you devout islamic based countries. Leave it to everybody else while you complain about all of the rest of the world's vendettas against your countries. Obviously the Koran is only useful for your hatred instead of its true meaning of love.

Where are you Saudia Arabia, Quatar, Iran, Palestine, and the rest of the devout islamic countries? 2 Billion dollars have been pledged to help South-East Asia and you have pledged nothing.

I guess the Koran is only important for your hidden agendas instead of helping your muslim brothers in need. Which is exactly what the Koran commands you to do.

Well, I'm not sensing much Christian or Muslim love in any of these comments. Rather than asking whose dick is bigger, an argument America will never win, it would be more productive to add somethign positive to a program you believe in.

If we're talking about entities who are missing in action, the first one on the list would be George W. Bush, who (unlike Germany's leader) stayed on vacation for three days, showing no leadership, then offering a paltry $15 million in help. Yeah, that's going to win over the hearts and minds of the world.
