fastlane blog: "where you can come to read the latest, greatest musings of GM leaders on topics relevant to the company...". actually a pretty interesting read. consumers get to sound off about design, safety, etc.

twitch: about films, especially small and independent ones.

yr fire: fighting for the rights of youth, by americans for a society free of age restrictions.

blink o rama: everyone blinks, but only this blog captures the closed eyelids of those appearing on television.

bloghdad: no one writes on this blog anymore because it belonged to enzo baldoni, a journalist who was killed by terrorists in iraq on august 26 2004. the mysterious lui reports that baldoni's style is incredible and his life was spent reporting on war around the world. the photo on the first page is incredible.

news designer: ever thought about how the news is arranged in your daily paper? news designer covers news and issues about newspaper design.

purse blog: some things make me happy

macchianera: when the us government tried to whitewash its coldblooded attack on giuliana sgrena's car after she was rescued from her iraqi captors. nicola calipari was killed. rather than take responsibility for what happened, the us government again tried to sweep its dirty business under the rug. luckily, the government is not so clever in distributing redacted versions of its documents. macchianera, our blogger of the day, revealed the portions that were supposed to be hidden from view. good work! oh, and by the way guess who nominated this one...that's right, the editor who won't be an editor, lui.

personally, i enjoy all types of beverages - including the non-alcoholic variety. bevnet is a weblog/review site that covers just about every branded non-alcoholic beverage in the universe.

make is a new magazine from o'reilly: "the first magazine devoted to digital projects, hardware hacks, and d.i.y. inspiration" and the make:blog is full of cool things.
