2022 FPA World Championships
For the first time since 2019, freestyle was able to host a world championship. After delays due to the deadly covid pandemic and logistical barriers due to covid protocols, this year’s world championships was held in Milan, Italy and hosted by the Frisbee Temple club. Results are below:

Some notable freestyle and FPA World Championships accomplishments:
* By winning Women’s Pairs with Emma Kahle, Lisa Hunrichs became the first player to win any division eleven times.
* By sweeping Open Pairs and Open Co-op, Paul Kenny becomes the oldest player (at age 56) to pull off that sweep.
* Paul Kenny and Mehrdad Houssanian go not only dropless but bobble-less to become the first team to receive no execution deductions, not only at the world championships but possibly in any freestyle tournament.
* For the first time since 1996, two teams went dropless in the FPA Worlds Open Pairs finals (Houssanian/Kenny and Hess/Leist). Manuel Cesari nearly made it three, logging only one drop.

2013 FPA World Championships – Day 3 Results
The finalists in Open Co-op, Women’s Pairs and Open Pairs were determined on the third ay of the 2013 FPA World Championships in Santa Cruz, California.
The winners of the semifinal pools in Open Co-op were Larry Imperiale/Randy Silvey/Bill Wright and Jake Gauthier/Paul Kenny/Jeff O’Brien. Lisa Hunrichs/Cindy St. Mary qualified first for the Women’s Pairs Final. The winners of the semifinal pools in Open Pairs were Claudio Cigna/Marco Prati and Matt Gauthier/James Wiseman.
